Jesse David Allen “J.D.”

Jesse David Allen “J.D.”, age 99, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on August 21, 1924 to his parents, Jesse Franklin Allen and Mamie Pickett, who have preceded him in death. J.D. is also preceded by his loving wife, Clara Ruth Allen and brothers, Jack, Jerold and John A. He is survived by his sons, Ron Allen (Renee) and Randy Allen (Lisa); daughter, Donna Allen Wyatt; grandchildren, Pamela, Karen (Amanda), Wes, Jake (Amber), Garrett, Michael (Monique), and Sheryl (Tyler); great grandchildren, Emma, Wyatt, Reagan, Gavin, Noah, Isabella, Meaghan, and McKenzie; great great grandchildren, Jack and Emory; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services for J.D.  will be held Wednesday October 25, 2023 in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 pm, immediately followed by a service at 2 p.m. J.D. will be laid to rest in Macedonia Cemetery. Pastor David Lamb will be officiating.
