William Elbert Templin “Bill”

William Elbert Templin “Bill”, age 86, of Springville, AL passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on Sunday, May 26, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on October 30,1937 to his parents Walter and Elaine Templin, both have preceded him in death. He is also preceded by his siblings, Walter Ellis Templin, Jr, Peggy Templin Waide, and Kevin Templin.  Bill is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Pat Templin; daughters, Kathy Creekmore (Roger), Traci Thomas (Walter), and Tammy Cameron (Jimmie); grandchildren, Meagan Baker (Chris), Amanda Lindsey (Zack), and Kelsey Kourmoulis (Tim); great grandchildren, Lexie, Waylon, Greyson, Henry, Maggie & Brooklyn; and his loyal furbaby, Maggie.

Bill served in the US Navy from 1955-1958, and was stationed in Guam and Pensacola, FL, where he earned the National Defense Services Metal. He was the owner of a heating and air conditioning company for over 32 years. Bill loved to fish his whole life. He was an avid golfer in his younger years. He and his wife, Pat, fell into the world of show dogs and loved traveling all over with their nine Great Danes. Bill was a loving husband, father, granddaddy, and great granddaddy. He will be truly missed by his loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center in Gadsden, AL.  in Bill’s name. His family will be having a private service.
