Regina Smith Allred

June 25, 1971 – August 11, 2026

Regina Smith Allred, age 55, passed away on August 11, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and woman of faith whose greatest treasures were her family and the people she loved.

Regina was the loving wife of Daniel Allred and a devoted mother to her three daughters: Brooke Stewart and her husband, Anthony Stewart; April McGuffie and her husband, Derrick McGuffie; and Cassie Roberson and her husband, Anthony Roberson.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to David Abbott, Wesley McGuffie, Ava Roberson, Mackenzie Roberson, Corey Roberson, and Gabriella “Ella” Roberson.

Regina was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Larry Abbott, and her parents, Charles Robinson and Pelina Robinson. She is also survived by her brother, Manual Robinson, along with many other family members and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Regina was loving, feisty, and fiercely devoted to her family. As a mother, she wasn’t only a mom to her daughters—she was their friend, their biggest supporter, and someone they always knew was in their corner. Her girls would be the first to admit that she probably let them get away with entirely too much growing up, but that was part of what made their relationship with her so special. She loved her girls for exactly who they were, stood behind them through everything, and never missed an opportunity to tell them how proud she was of them.

She deeply loved being a grandmother. Although her health prevented her from being the grandmother she wanted to be in many ways, it never diminished the tremendous love and pride she had for her grandchildren.

For the last six years of her life, Regina courageously fought cancer. Through years that brought unimaginable challenges, she continued to fight with the same feisty spirit and strength those who loved her knew so well.

Above all, Regina was a woman of strong Christian faith. She attended Pentecostals of Pell City, and her faith remained an important part of her life throughout her journey.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that the battle she fought for so long is finally over. There is no more pain, no more sickness, and no more cancer. They find peace in believing she has been reunited with her parents, Charles and Pelina, and her beloved grandson, Larry, whom she missed dearly.

Regina fought the good fight, finished her course, and kept the faith.

Services for Regina will be held Friday, August 14, 2026 at Pentecostals of Pell City. A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Harpersville Cemetery.

Though those who loved her would have kept her here forever, they find comfort in knowing she is finally at peace and has heard the words she spent her life believing she would one day hear:

“Well done. Welcome home.”
