Glenda Gail Moore, age 76, passed away in the comfort of her own home Sunday, August 9, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Loving wife of 52 years, loving mother, and grandmother. She loved the Lord and light always shined so brightly. She always spoke of living right and tried to always spread the word to anyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Haywood and Ila Dean Duncan.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband, Charles Moore; sons, Les Moore (Christi), Wes Moore (Whitney); brothers, Randy Duncan, Ivan Duncan (Wanda), Jackie Duncan (Donna), Raymond Simpson; sisters, Mary Lousie Smith (John D.), Carolyn Duncan; niece, Laura Duncan; special family friend, Megan Corley; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Glenda will have a graveside service Wednesday August 12, 2026, at Pondville Methodist Cemetery starting at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Ray Grantham will be officiating.

She was a very loving peeson and she loved everyone and the lord she will be missed by all that knew her she was not my real aunt but i always thought of her as my aunt if you ever had anything going on she was there with helping hands and a prayer i will miss seeing her at the yardsales when i came up but i know without any dought she is singing on the streets of gold
Bold faith…bold living. Praying loudly…Praying unceasingly. Unchanging – always the same in every circumstance. She and her sister, Mary were so faithful in coming to weekly Bible studies – even during tough cancer days. ALWAYS testifying of the goodness and love of God. The ladies and I in the class learned how to go through suffering in a way that pleases God from the way Glenda handled her
cancer. Glenda was one on the most beautiful women I Know because she was totally sincere…without wax (remember from Bible study?). Charles, she loved you very much. Wes and Les, your mom has left a great legacy of faith to you both so may you keep it going as you lead your families. Mary, I know how precious a sister is and I know you will miss her physical presence but at same time rejoice in the fact she is at home and well.
Glenda was such a sweet Lady. I worked with her about 40 years ago and everytime she saw me in a store she stopped and talked. She also came to Homecoming every year at my Church, Pondville Methodist. She was a dear Lady and will be missed. Family and friends you are in my prayers!
I’ve known Mrs Glenda for as long as I can remember and she never failed to tell me she loved me. She babysat me as a child. I will miss seeing her when I visit. Prayers and hugs for Mr Charles and family.
She was a wonderful woman with strong faith. She wanted to make sure everyone knew the lord as she did. It was a pleasure to know and care for her.
She was such a sweet lady. Her and her sister Mary Louise were always sweet to me. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Charles, Wes, Les, and family. Sending love to you.
