Larry “Dale” Epperson

Larry “Dale” Epperson, age 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026. He was born on February 1, 1951, to his parents, Robert and Lucille Epperson, both have preceded him in death. Dale served his country proudly for the US Army in Vietnam

Dale is survived by his daughters, Audra Foster (Josh), Lilly Carroll (Russell); sisters, Madge Jones, Maxine Long, Lisa Styron; brother, Bobby Epperson (Bridget); sisters-in-law, Diane Epperson, Carol Epperson; grandchildren, Evan Aultman (Haley), Aubrianna Aultman, Jase Carroll, Malachi Foster, and Canaan Foster; great grandchildren, Jett and Kadence; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Epperson, Jerry Epperson; and brother-in-law, Charles Jones.

Services for Dale will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Randolph, AL. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. with a service to begin at 11 a.m. Dale will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery at Shady Grove. Pastor Jim Headley will be officiating.

 Matt Epperson, Ben Epperson, Scott Epperson, Greg Epperson, Dennis Wallace, Cowboy Long, and Billy Bob Jones will be serving as pallbearers.
