Joe “Kelly” Kendrick

Joe “Kelly” Kendrick, age 68, passed away in the comfort of his own home on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on January 5, 1958, to his parents, George Milton Kendrick and Alice Kelley Kendrick, who have preceded him in death. Kelly is also preceded by his grandson Miles Kendrick.

Kelly is survived by his loving wife, Laura Kendrick of Pelham, AL; children, Scott Kendrick, Jennifer Kendrick, Joshua Kendrick (Traci), and Jonathan Kendrick (Sarah); siblings, Trey Kendrick and Trudy Allen; grandchildren; Kentley, Keagan, Kaelyn, Addison, Emilia, Aspen, Holly, Lily and Alani; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Services for Kelly will be held Saturday, July 18,2026 at Westwood Baptist Church. A Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:30 p.m. Pastor Scott Morton, Mike Mcgill, Mike West and Josh Kendrick will be speaking at the services.  Arrangements entrusted to Charter Funeral Home & Crematory.

    I knew Kelly, his dad and mom a long time ago. They were fine people and even at the time Kelly showed he loved the Lord. I am sure his family will miss him.
