Zachary “Zach” Allen Fogle

August 8, 1995 – November 1, 2026

Zachary Allen Fogle, affectionately known to everyone as “Zach,” of Calera, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the age of 31.

Zach was truly one of a kind. With his larger-than-life personality, contagious laughter, and unforgettable sense of humor, he was always the life of the party. Funny, loud, outgoing, and always ready with a joke, Zach never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh. He had a special way of bringing people together, making everyone feel welcome, and turning even the simplest moments into memories that would last a lifetime.

Zach had a passion for the restaurant industry and was most recently employed at Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux on Highway 280. His outgoing personality, love for people, and ability to make friends wherever he went made the restaurant industry a natural fit for him.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Zach loved Alabama Crimson Tide football, the New Orleans Saints, and the Boston Celtics. During his high school years, he played football and ran cross country at Oak Mountain. His competitive and adventurous spirit carried into adulthood, whether he was playing kickball, cheering on his favorite teams, or taking on a new challenge. Most recently, Zach completed the Savage Race in Atlanta in September 2026, another example of his willingness to embrace adventure and live life to the fullest. He also loved fishing, spending time at the beach, and making memories with family and friends.

One of Zach’s greatest joys was being an uncle. He adored his niece and nephews and took great pride in being part of their lives. He was always there for them, whether to share a laugh, offer support, or simply spend time together. The love he had for them was undeniable, and the memories they shared with their Uncle Zach will always be treasured.

Zach is survived by his loving mother, Lee Harris; his sisters, Anna Ellis (Ryan), Madison Clarke (Pierce), and Amy Alford (Kirk); his nephews, Nash, Wells, and Grayson; and his niece, Alexa. He also leaves behind extended family members and countless friends whose lives were brighter because he was part of them.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Fogle; his maternal grandparents, Ruth and James Harris; and his paternal grandparents, F.R. and Carol Fogle.

Though 31 years was far too short, Zach lived those years with a spirit that was anything but small. He loved big, laughed loud, and made sure there was never a dull moment. His family and friends will forever remember his humor, his energy, his love for life, and the countless memories he leaves behind.

The world will be a little quieter without Zach in it, but the laughter, love, and memories he leaves behind will never fade.

A funeral service celebrating Zach’s life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian (5521 Double Oak Ln, Birmingham, AL 35242). In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for people to make a donation to New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
