Margaret Annette Morgan

Margaret Annette Morgan of Calera, Al, passed away peacefully on November 3,2026. She was born March 23,1938 to the late William Price and the late Mary Kennedy.

Margaret was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was evident in the way she cared for them. She leaves behind a family who will forever treasure the memories they shared and the love she gave.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Leon Morgan; her parents and her siblings, Gail Beasley, Larry Price, Roger Price, and Mary Price; and a brother who passed away in infancy.

She is survived by her son, Michael Morgan of Calera; her daughter, Kay (Wayne) Giddens of Jemison; her granddaughters, Amber (John) Patterson of Brierfield and Heather (Cody) Brasher of Jemison; and her four great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Holli, Connor, and Katie Jo as well as her brothers Gary Price and Ted Kennedy of Shelby and a host of nieces and nephews.

Margaret’s love will live on through the family she leaves behind. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in their hearts forever.

A funeral service will be held Monday, November 9, 2026, at Charter Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. Margret will be laid to rest along side her husband in Shelby Memory Gardens.
