Johnny R. Shockley

Johnny R. Shockley, age 61, passed away at his home in Shelby, Alabama on Saturday, August 1, 2026. A graveside service will be held at Lawley Chapel Cemetery, 22060 County Road 55 Sterrett Al, 35147, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

A celebration of life will be held at his home, 671 Highway 308 Shelby, Al 35143, on Sunday August 9,2026 at 2:00 p.m.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Glena Shockley; sisters, Gail Shockley, Lorenda Moor; and brother, William ‘Butch’ Shockley.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Phillips (David); granddaughters, Gabby, Kensleigh, and Aubrey; siblings, Ray (Elaine) Shockley, Jerry ‘BoBo’ Shockley, Rena (John) Douglas, Shena (Patrick) Ashworth, Linda Shockley, Kenny Moor; along with a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other family and close friends.
