Tracy Ballou Carter

Tracy Carter, age 62, passed away in the comfort of his home on Saturday, August 1, 2026 surrounded by a loving family. Tracy of Calera, Alabama was a good and faithful Christian. His passions in life were his family (both related and church) and travel! He also had great enthusiasm for music and old science fiction movies (he had an extensive collection).

Preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Jane Carter and his younger brother Jimmy Carter.

Tracy is survived by his father, Jim Carter and his sisters Cindy Miller, Sonya Boozer and Trudy Carter; brother Jon Carter and a large loving family.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at the Columbiana Church of the Nazarene on August 29 th with a family greeting starting at 10:00am followed by the service at 11:00am. Please stay and enjoy a lunch provided by the church family who loved Tracy so very much!
