I looked out the window this morning to see a cardinal sitting where you always parked. Walked out onto the porch where we would drink coffee, to a beautiful pleasant breeze. I hate that I missed the last call you’ll ever make to me, then days later hear the devasting news. I got a new A/C and mattress for your room & it kills me to know you’ll never again use it. You captured my heart five years ago and held it hostage and it’s so broken right now. I do take solace in knowing I was in your circle til the end though. In a few hours, on this first day of summer, you’ll be parked up eternally and reach your final destination and we have to accept that. Prayers for your children and grandchildren and ALL who loved you. May we ALL get through this sad day and our sorrow be lightened soon. In Jesus name, Amen. I love you truly Billy, you have my heart for eternity. You are and always will be my magic man, goat and space rabbit. God’s speed dear friend, til we meet again.
