Nancy Faye McCraney Blankenship

Nancy Faye McCraney Blankenship, age 68 of Columbiana, Al. passed away on Wednesday, June 25th in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. Nancy was born on December 31, 1956, to her parents, Willie Mack McCraney and Artist Faye Benefield McCraney, both have preceded her in passing. She is also preceded by her first husband and father to her children James Owen Mann Jr.; her husband of 22 years John Richard “Ricky” Blankenship; sister, Maxine McCraney Tidwell, brother-in-law, James Michael Blankenship and several other family members.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Donda Grant (Scott); son, John Michael Blankenship (April); grandsons, Kenneth Hunter Meader (Summer) and William Brayden Grant; great-grandsons, Brodie & Braxton Meader and one on the way; brother, Joe McCraney (Martha); and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and wife. There will be a gathering for Nancy on Tuesday, July 1^st from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.  at Charter Funeral Home.
