Joan Benedict Carroll, age 65, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband Lane Carroll of Childersburg, Al; her son, Bryan Edward Benedict Jr., her daughter Lee Aron (Sissie) Benedict Blair (Bobby) of Calera, Al; her granddaughters, Bailee Ryan Blankenship and Cori Amelia Blair; her brothers Marvin L. Davis of Vestavia Hills, Al and Tony A. Davis of Fairhope, Al; and a host of nieces and nephews. Ms. Joan’s services will be Friday, March 29, 2019 at Calera Bible Baptist Church at 2 P.M.

    This is sad to learn. She was so sweet. I know her family misses her. Much love sent to her brother, Tony, who was in high school at the same time as me. Your father was also very special to me.
