Jennie Lou Polk, age 89, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Elmer and Lillie Harper Polk and brothers, Arlie, James and Woodrow Polk.  She is survived by her sister, Betty P. McNeel; brothers, Gene H. Polk, Sr. (Peggy L.) and Michael J. Polk; and several nieces and nephews.  A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both held in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home.  Brother Tom Hammett officiating.  Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.  www.charterfuneral.com
