Jackie Wayne Vines

Jackie Wayne Vines, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 28, 1952, to his parents, Jack and Billie Vines, both have preceded him in death. Jackie is also preceded by his brother, Dennis Vines. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Vines; children, Shane Vines (Stephanie), Carie Hopper (Jason), Gerald Mims (Renae) and Daryl Mims (Samantha); aunt, Dean Ferguson; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He loved God, his family, horses, all animals, racing, and fishing. He was a truck driver for over 33 years. Jackie was a true jack of all trades. He was a huge cutup and loved to laugh and have fun with his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

    Brother Jackie deeply loved the Lord and was always faithful to his church family. Surely he has received his great reward in heaven. He will be greatly missed ❤️🙏

    We loved brother Jackie. He was an inspiration to a lot of people love to watch him get excited in church when he would start shouting I know he is shouting right now on the streets of glory just hang on brother. I don’t think it’ll be a long time till we all get there. See you again, brother.

    So very sorry Tina, praying for you and the family. Jackie was an amazing man of God and we were all better to have known him. Over the last 25 years that Donald and I have known y’all, one of the biggest things that stands out was his love for the Lord, his family and his desire to help others know Jesus. While Jackie will be greatly missed here, one can only imagine what wonderful things he is seeing and doing in Heaven. I praise God that we were blessed to have known Jackie and you. Love you ❤️❤️❤️

    Prayers for all of you. Jackie was always a cut up and will be missed by his family and friends. Me and Granny loved him and can’t believe he is gone.
