Franklin “Frank” “Buddy” Delano Hyde, Sr.

20161101_121410-1 Franklin “Frank” “Buddy” Delano Hyde, Sr., age 79, of Calera, AL,  went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 30,2016. Frank was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.   He was predeceased by his son, Franklin “Franky” Delano Hyde, Jr.; parents, Charlie and Edith Hyde; sisters, Francis Cryer, Christine Bentley Jeanette Martin and brother,  Charles Hyde.  His survivors include his wife of 56 years, Isolde Hyde; daughters, Laura Arbitelle (Robert) and Darlene Hampton (Larry A., Jr.); sons, James Hyde (Ruth) and Daniel Hyde (Dawn); sisters, Carolyn Grover, Helen Foust and Geraldine Tuggle; grandchildren, Hanz Hyde, Eian Hyde, Nazareth Hyde, Nathan Hyde, Richard Hyde, Courtney Hyde, Jonathan Butler, Katherine Goodwin (Ethan), Jessica Arrowood (Barry),  Jordan Hampton, Kandace Waters (Thomas), Kimberly Hampton, Kasey Wilson (Curt), and Kelsey Hampton; great grandchildren, Brinley Kate Arrowood and Jackson Grant Ortego.  The family will receive friends, 1 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Charter Funeral with a Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.  A Committal Service will be held in Ryan’s Cemetery, Montevallo, AL.  Pastor Randy Reid will officiate the services.

    We are so sorry…Mom will greatly miss her baby brother and we will miss seeing our Uncle. Planning on being with all of you Thursday- Friday. Love and prayers!

    Our loss is Heaven s gain . I will always want to stop by see you when I get near Calera . Wish you had got to come to Brewton one more time so many memories of kids at Ryans Crossing wading the creek & running the pasture & woods “Tarzan.” Enjoy Heavens Glories with our loved ones .
