Faye S. Walker

Faye S. Walker, age 78, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 14, 1954, to her parents, R.L. and Ruby Dunnaway, both have preceded her in death. Faye is also preceded by her loving husband, Johnny Walker; brothers, R.L. Dunnaway Jr., Jerry Dunnaway, and Morrell Dunnaway; and sister, Peggy Glass. She is survived by her son, Jayson Walker (Robin); daughter, Katie Nichols; grandchildren, Justin Walker (Raphaelle) and Lindsey Green (Michael); great grandchildren, Kaydence Green, Everleigh Green, and Baron Tide Walker; sisters, Barbara Langham (Wilver) and Darlene Lathem; a host of loving nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Calera Baptist Church at 11 am. (600 whippoorwill Lane Calera, Alabama. 35040) Pastor Jason Jarvis will be officiating.

    Faye was my cousin…my sweet cousin who lived in Alabama.
    We visited a couple of times over the years.
    She adored my Mom, and called her ” Aunt TeTain”…

    While we did not communicate much, I knew where she was.
    Faye was a hoot! Never a dull moment, funny as heck.

    I loved you girl. God Bless you, go in peace & rest.
