Elizabeth (“Betty”) Ann Haislip Gardner

Ms. Elizabeth (“Betty”) Ann Haislip Gardner of Calera, Alabama passed on peacefully at home Thursday, December 12, 2019. She was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Arlington, Virginia. Betty was a loving mother and active in her church community for many years. She loved the Lord and was faithful to the end. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Blanche Haislip, and her son, Douglas Gardner. She is survived by her son John (Alicia), daughters Winni Carlisle (Terry) and Susan Cline, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Montevallo, at 1:30 p.m. Followed by a graveside service held at Acton Memorial Cemetery at 3:30 (4660 Caldwell Mill Rd, Vestavia Hills, AL 35243).
