Eileen Harvette Randall Green

Eileen Harvette Randall Green went to her heavenly home on November 26, 2025. She went peacefully in her sleep. Eileen was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina where she attended the former Lee Edwards High School. During her younger years, she was affectionately nicknamed “Teenie” by her father due to her petite stature. The name would remain hers throughout her life.
Teenie and her husband, Mike, and would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary December 21st. She was a devoted wife and mother who spent her life as a homemaker, caring for her family. She loved books, crafting and made the best brownie sundaes.
Teenie was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Michael (Mike) Green, her parents, Harvey Jordan Randall and Dorthy Buckner Randall, and her sister and brother-in-law, Joan Randall McCurry and Richard McCurry.
Teenie is survived by her son, Harry Scott Green (Karen); her daughter Kristie Green Bauer (Layton); her six grandchildren: Ashely Hampton (Tony), Michael Scot Green (Lindsey), Kristen Green, Jordin Bauer Schiffman (Taylor), Braydon Bauer (Emily), and Emma Bauer; her six great grandchildren: Xavier, Janyiah, T.K., Malakai, Kaydence, and Everleigh; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass for Mrs. Green will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover, AL on December 5th at 11 am. Visitation will be at the church prior to Mass starting at 10:30 am.
Mrs. Green will be laid to rest with her husband at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo Monday, December 8th at 2 pm.
In leu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Mrs. Green’s honor to Little Sisters of the Poor.
Aunt Teenie always had a smile on her face and had the best laugh!! So glad she is with Uncle Mike. My love to you and the family
