Dillon James Sullivan

Dillon James Sullivan, age 31, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 4 2024. He is preceded in death by his brother, Shawn Sullivan; grandmother, Patricia Gruna; and grandfather, Stephen Bembenek.  Dillon is survived by his mother, Michelle Thomas; stepdad, John Thomas; father, Timothy Sullivan; stepbrother, Blake Thomas; stepsister, Holly Thomas; niece, Kinley Thomas; grandparents, Robet and Joyce Thomas; uncles, Brad Bembenek (Betty), Brian Bembenek (Christine), and Bruce Bembenek (Dawn); aunts, Mary Bembenek (Shannon), Sylvia Nimmer (Bob), Amy Resch (Chris), Georgia Gebert (Ray), Bethany Smeraglia (Stephen), Shauna Sanders, Angela Jones (Lucas); and a host of cousins.

Dillon enjoyed drawing in his spare time. He loved to aggravate his niece, Kinley, like crazy; that was his way of showing her that he loved her so much. Dillon loved his stepsister Holly and their late-night talks. He enjoyed watching their shows at night with both Holly and Kinley. Dillon was so goofy and that was his unique way of making people laugh. He enjoyed playing his video games and playing family games at the table with the girls. He loved to cook for everyone and whatever he cooked up, he wanted everyone to try what it tasted like. Dillon loved to share.

He loved his momma and would call her 5-6 times a day no matter where he was, whether at work or a friendโ€™s house. Dillon just wanted to check on her and tell her that he loved her to the moon and back and back again. To infinity and beyond. Then mom would say my infinity is bigger than your infinity and we would laugh.

Bottom line: Dillon had a good heart and would give the shirt off of his back for anyone. He loved his family dearly but missed his brother so very much.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held at 11am followed by a service at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to an addiction prevention place of your choice in his name.  Pastor Keven Blankenship will be officiating.

Michelle and the whole family my heart breaks for you. I didn’t know Dillion that long. But what time I have known him he was always very nice to me. Which shows how he was raised. Michelle I am honored to know you and you did a GREAT job as did the whole family. I wish I had the words that would take the pain away but there is NO WORDS to take the pain away. My thoughts & prayers are with each and everyone of you.
