Beverly Jean Pemberton

Beverly Jean Pemberton, age 79, passed away on July 9, 2020.  She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Anita Ewing and her son, Johnny Pemberton.  Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Ralph Pemberton; sons, Rick Pemberton (Marie) of Albuquerque, NM, Randy Pemberton of Hanceville, AL, Steve Pemberton (Sherry) of Birmingham, AL, Michael Pemberton of Hoover, AL; sisters, Sue Ewing Kerce of Vestavia, AL, Ann Ewing King (Al) of Bessemer, AL; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.  She also leaves behind her dog, Sugar Babies and her cat friend, Gabby.  A memorial gathering will be held in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., followed immediately by a memorial service.  Mrs. Pemberton will be buried in Patton Chapel Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Beverly’s memory to UAB Cardiology https://go.uab.edu/cardiology or UAB Nephrology  https://go.uab.edu/UABnephrology or please make checks payable to UAB and mail to UAB Gift Records, AB 1230, 1720 2nd Avenue South, Birmingham, AL, 35294.

    My thoughts go back to our early days on Tyler Rd. as we grew up. You were the sweetest of little girls and you never changed. We all loved you so much and you will be missed by everyone who knew you. I love you, Jean.
