Annette Bell Feltman

Annette Bell Feltman, age 87, passed away in the comfort of her own home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a licensed RN and lovingly took care of many patients and their families throughout her career. She also faithfully served as a minister’s wife spending many hours caring for others. She had a kind and gracious nature that touched everyone who met her. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother who was greatly loved by all her family.

She was born on June 17, 1938 to her parents, Carl H. Bell and Clarice M. Bell, both have preceded her in passing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Thomas M. Feltman, Jr. Also preceded in death were her sisters, Lorene Bell and Clarice Jean Hardin and her brothers Carl Edward Bell, James T. Bell, Samuel Keith Bell and David W. Bell.

Annette is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Feltman Ross (Leonard), sons, Thomas K. Feltman (Debbie) and Mark E. Feltman; grandchildren , Rachel S. Blackwood (Matthew), Jeremy M. Ross (Adrienne), Thomas Joshua Feltman(Shara), Krystal L. Feltman, Kurtis S. Feltman(Christy), Heather M. Feltman, and Blake A. Feltman; great-grandchildren, Lucille S. Blackwood, Wallace L. Blackwood, Juniper Q. Ross, Leona G. Ross, Cole T. Feltman and Lily Marie Feltman; sisters, Brenda G. Chance(David) and Susan Boudreaux: brother, Thomas G. Bell; former daughter in law, Shirley Feltman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Charter Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a service beginning at 11 a.m.  Annette will be laid to rest in the Alabama National Cemetery with a committal service at 12:30 p.m.

Special thanks to Expect Care Hospice and Caregivers, Laura Perry, Tracy Solomon and Linda Gatson with many others who cared for my mother during her illness. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association in Annette’s name.

    When I sat with her, we shared many memories and I have tons of pictures that still pop up. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Sending all the love and prayers to you all.
