Mary Alice Holsomback

Mary Alice Holsomback, age 83, went to be with her savior surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, July 15, 2024, in Maylene, AL. Mary had a strong faith and love for the Lord. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Holsomback; son, Scott Holsomback; parents, Arthur and Ola Abernathy and several siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Amato; sons, Kerry Holsomback and Jeff Holsomback (Chasity); grandsons, Steve Amato (Barret), Patrick Butler (Lauren); granddaughter; Ashley Strawn (Tyler); grandsons, Austin Holsomback (Carol), and Micah Holsomback (Ziana); 9 great grandchildren; sister, Sue Hutchison; and brother Roger Abernathy.

Services for Mary will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home. The time of visitation will take place from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., following that time will be her service. Burial will be in Ryan Crossing Cemetery Montevallo. Charter Funeral Home of Calera is helping the family with her arrangements.
