Garry Keith Hanson

Garry Keith Hanson, age 76, of Wilsonville, AL, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017.  He  proudly served 28 years in the U. S. Navy retiring as Command Master  Chief.  Garry went on to retire from the Mississippi  and Alabama School Systems.  He was also an adjunct professor for Jefferson State Community College.  As everyone knows he  was an avid motorcyclist.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Lee Una Hanson. His survivors include his wife of 10 years, Kathy Hanson; daughters, Lisa Croft (Roy), Lori Wilson (Larry) and Linda Dobyns (Eric); brother,

Russell Hanson (Rosie); grandchildren, Sheena Croft, Miranda Pierce (Nick), Olen Croft (Sophie), Thomas Wilson (Kaci), Mary Wilson and  Kylee Dobyns and great grandson, Joseph Croft.  A visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday, February 27, 2017 at Charter Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service will be 11 am, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.  Preacher John McPherson will be officiating the services.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Garry’s name to the American Heart
