Susan “Susie” Spain Booth

Susan “Susie” Spain Booth, of Brierfield, AL, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the age of 68. She was born on September 12, 1957 to her parents, Billy Ray Pitts and Ora “Oscar” Mae Brasher, both have preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by close aunts, uncles, and cousins Susie is survived by her husband of 28 years, John Booth Jr.; daughter, Audrey Kemp (David); grandchild, Lillian Kemp; goddaughter, Stephanie Carter (CJ); and god granddaughter, Minnie Lee.

Susie has the same date of birth as her loving husband. She was self employed for many years and own her own beauty shop, “Hair and Nail Designs”; she believed in working hard. Susie was a big momma’s girl and loved everyone she met. She enjoyed taking trips to the beach to relax. Above all she loved the Lord with all her heart.

Services for Susie will be held Monday, January 12, 2026 at Charter Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 11 a.m. followed by a service at 12 noon. Susie will be laid to rest in Antioch Cemetery. Services entrusted to Charter Funeral Home.
