Raymond Alexander Edwards

Raymond Alexander Edwards advanced to glory in Alabaster on Dec. 3, 2019. Ray was born in Birmingham on Nov. 26, 1944 to K.C. and Estelle Edwards. He is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Edwards Thornton and his brother, Kermit Charles “Chuck” Edwards. His memory will be cherished by his wife of 50 years, Mickie McCarn Edwards, and his daughters, Cynthia Fields and Jacquelyn Le. Ray and Mickie have 7 grandchildren. His services will be at 11:00 am Friday, Dec. 6 2019 at First Baptist Church of Montevallo. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am-11:00 am at the church. Dr. Terry Sutton will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family wished donations to be made to the church sanctuary restoration fund.
