Sandra Kay Dupree
Sandra Kay Dupree, age 81, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 13,1943 to her parents Paul and Opal Dupree, both have preceded her in passing.
Sandra graduated from Banks High School in Woodlawn, Al. She worked as a legal secretary at a engineering firm for many years. Sandra was a humorous woman and could make anyone laugh. She enjoyed cross stitching and baking.
Sandra is survived by her children, Joseph Craig Saxon, Chris Wade Saxon and Brandi Joelle Saxon; brother, Ray Dupree (Louise); 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held in Forest Hills Cemetery, Birmingham, Al, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11 a.m.
Sandra will be missed greatly. She was a lovely lady and friend to me for 25 years. Even with distance between us the last 14 years we stayed in touch and visited when possible. I worked with her at Covenant Classical School where she was irreplaceable. Parents and children adored seeing her smile and getting hugs during pickup and drop off. Prayers for her family. ❤️🙏🏻
