On behalf of the family, we want to inform you of the unexpected passing of James Edward “JayBird” LaGrone, Jr. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at One Church in Brent, AL. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, a celebration service will begin at 12 noon. JayBird will be laid to rest in Antioch Cemetery, in Centreville, Al.
