Megan McGuire Cain
Megan McGuire Cain, age 68, of Alabaster, Alabama, passed from this walk of life on Friday, August 28, 2026, at her home. Born in Rhode Island to her parents, Joseph Patrick and Elizabeth Brady McGuire. Raised a Jersey girl, she eventually made her way to Alabama, where she made a life and created countless memories.
She was a loving mom and grandmother who cherished her family deeply. Megan was a beautiful, free-spirited soul with a love for music and a voice that could light up any room. Living life in her own way and will always be remembered for her beauty, her spirit, her love for her family, and her unforgettable singing.
Megan is preceded by her parents, Joseph Patrick and Elizabeth Brady McGuire; sister, Joanne McGuire Baxley. Her surviving relatives include her loving daughter, Beth Cain Stagner (Aaron); grandchildren, Emmarie, Eliza, and Ella; sisters, Mickie McGuire and Elizabeth Armstrong (Roy); brothers, Mike McGuire (Patty), Sean McGuire (Lisa), Patrick McGuire (Cindy), and Christopher McGuire (Gera).
Her services will be held in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home on Saturday, September 12, 2026. A time to gather will take place 30 minutes prior to the service starting at 2:00 p.m. Please, in honor of her memory the family has requested that donations be made in her name to help Alzheimer’s research.
Megan was indeed a very special lady and a great friend of many years. I will cherish all the memories I have for my whole life. I loved her as a Sister. We definitely had some great adventures and I will always cherish them. From the first time I met you I knew we would always be friends and sisters. I love you Megan.
Megan was very special to me. We laughed every time we got together. Every meeting turned into a karaoke night with Megan lol. Fly high and keep singing ❤️
