Judy S. Carr
Judy S. Carr, age 72, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, June 5, 2025. She was born on January 28, 1953, to her parents Dorothy Lawley Smith and Clifton Smith, both have preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Clifton “Junior” Smith and David Smith.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Terry Carr; daughters, Brenda Thomas (Rodney), Linda Lucas (Daniel); son, Terry E. Carr (Beverly); sisters, Karen Martin (Chris Berryhill), Tammy Vanderslice (George), Mary Ann Barker; brothers, Tommy Smith, James Lloyd Smith; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Services for Judy will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Charter Funeral Home. The visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. Judy will be laid to rest at the Alabama National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Judy’s honor to a charity of your choice.
