Myriam Davis Cox

Myriam Davis Cox, age 79, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Thursday, June 26, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Paris, France on August 26, 1945, to her parents, Clifton R. and Micheline C. Davis, both have preceded her in death. She is also preceded by her brother-in-law, Roy Hall.

Myriam is survived by her loving husband, Ronald W. Cox; son, Randy Cox (Susan); daughter, Marcie Barber (Tory); grandchildren, Haley Barber and Brett Barber; brothers, Jimbo Davis (Deborah). Gary W. Davis (Susan), and Terry R. Davis (Karen), and sisters, Linda Davis Hall and Monique Davis Dietschweiler (Ken).

Myriam will be laid to rest in the Alabama National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. Brother George Golden will be officiating.

    So very sorry to hear this! This family was a large part of FPCAC (formerly ECPC) for A very long time! We loved them all and offer our condolences to the family, those we know and those we don’t know! May you all find our Fathers peace at this time!

    I am so sorry to hear about Meme’s passing! She was one of the sweetest ladies that I ever had the pleasure to meet. I loved her and will miss her. I am so sorry I didn’t know she was sick! I would be at the funeral but I am sick. So very sorry for your loss!
