Mary Geraldine Bice

Mary Geraldine Bice entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Monday, January 16th, 2023. She was 77. She was born to Dorothy and William Hughes on October 15th, 1945. Mary was blessed with her children, Rohnda, Wahnda, and Deanna, in 1963 and 1970, whom she greatly adored. She was married to her loving husband, Jerry Bice, for 39 years, who preceded her in death in 2020. In marriage, she welcomed her son’s, Jason and David Bice, into her family. Mary grew to be a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was described by those who knew her as fiery, kind, and charming. Her hands were hardly still. She adored cooking, always sharing recipes with loved ones. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers and ferns. She was always sharing memories and spending time with her family. She was passionate about her faith, sharing the word of the Lord and exclaiming his praises to everyone she met. Mary is survived by her three daughters, Wahnda (Ronnie) Clark, Rohnda Garrett, Deanna (Tim) Goggins; her two sons, Jason (Dawn) Bice and David (Audrey) Bice; her eleven beloved grandchildren, and granddaughter Megan Goggins (Care giver) and great-grandchild, Elijah Clark. While she will be greatly missed, we are thankful that she is again in the arms of her beloved husband, Jerry, where they rest in the eternal peace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Macedonia Cemetery- Pea Ridge, Alabama. Charter Funeral Home of Calera handling her arrangements for the family.
