Gilbert Hooper Sawyer, III, age 45, of Alabaster, Alabama passed away on February 20, 2018.  He is survived by his wife, Donna Michelle Rutledge Sawyer; daughters, Ashley Nicole Wood (Jake), Brooklynn Anne Sawyer; sisters, Tina Sawyer Haley (Jay), Cindy Sawyer Bramblett (Rob); brother, Tom Sawyer (Rebecca); and parents, Gilbert and Judy Ann Sawyer, Jr. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Charter Funeral Home.

    Donna ,ashley and Brooklynn.. I am so sorry for your loss.. Beau was the best man ever imaginalble and he loved you guys unconditionally. I will miss him so much he was Scott’s best friend and Scott respected his opinion so much.. I will always love y’all and consider you my friend
