Geraldine McDaniel Horton

Dec. 7, 1958 – May 30, 2023

Geraldine “Gerri” McDaniel Horton of Columbiana, AL went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the age of 64 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Joe McDaniel Jr. and Katherine Adaline Talley-McDaniel; her husband, Jerald Horton; brother-in-law, Joe Hutchkiss, and sister, Vickie Degginger.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Misty Stuman (Brian) and her son, Rickey Wright; sisters, Linda Perryman (Larry), Pamela Hutchkiss, and Shelia Thompson; brother, Jerry Joe McDaniel III (Melissa); brother- in-law, Bob Degginger; two loving grandchildren, Logan Stuman and Luke Stuman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Gerri was a lifelong resident of Columbiana, AL and enjoyed serving others, spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the Expectcare team especially Lori Ruple.

Services will be held Monday, June 5, 2023 at New Life Pentecostal Church. A visitation will be held at 11 am followed by a service at 12 pm. Gerri will be laid to rest in the Summerhill Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Josh Beane will be officiating. Services entrusted to Charter Funeral Home.
