Frank D. Matherson, Sr “Paw Paw”

 Frank D. Matherson, Sr “Paw Paw”, age 80, of Alabaster, went to be with the Lord on Monday November 20, 2017. Frank is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, 8 siblings and 1 grandson. He is survived by his faithful wife Jessie Faye, children Frank D. Matherson, Jr (Terri), Jo Brooker (Tommy), Kenny Matherson (Janet), Nesi Matherson and Randy Downs, grandchildren Angel Stewart (Bart), Josh Matherson (Ashley), Chase Matherson (Megan), Christopher Robins (Laura), Craig Robins (Ashlin), Colt Brooker (Natasha), Cody Bruner, Jeffrey Matherson (Kelsie), KaLee Brooker, Kayla Lee, Tommy Brooker (Mariah), Trey Matherson, Briana Martin (Caleb), Amanda Seales (Bradley) and Candace Meadows (David), 15 great grandchildren and one brother C.L. Matherson (Linda). The family will receive guests at Charter Funeral Home, in Alabaster, AL on Friday November 24th from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. with graveside service to follow at the National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to go to the American Cancer Society in honor of his grandson Dane Bruner.
