Danny L. Sullivan

Danny L. Sullivan, age 59, of Alabaster, AL, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016. His entire work career was in the grocery business in the South East, working in many positions during his 43 year career, he was currently employed with Winn Dixie in Inverness Corners as Store Director.   His survivors include his wife of 40 years, Cindy Sullivan; children, Jason Sullivan (Summer), Johnny Sullivan (Dancy) and Kristi Portwood (Derek); siblings, Gayle Hill, James Sullivan, Valerie Feenker and Robert Sullivan; grandchildren, Colton, Catelyn, Logan and Grayson Sullivan and  Shelbi and Lucas Portwood and numerous other family members and friends.  Danny was welcomed to Heaven by his parents,  Christine and Bill.  A visitation will be6-8 pm, Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at Charter Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service will be 11 am, Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 at the Funeral Home.  “Danny was a loving husband, father, Pop Pop and friend. ”  Charter Funeral Home.

    Sorry to here about danny. I worked with him at different time during my 39 years with food world . He was always fare manager and good person . Rip danny God be with the family and friend. Carol argo

    I’m so sorry to hear about Danny. He was a great Husband, Father, Granddad, and Friend. He was an inspiration and true leader within the Grocery business. He will be deeply missed. I send my condolences to you and your family. Rest in peace, Danny!
