Chris Stalls

Chris Stalls, age 61, left this world on Saturday, August 19th, happily in his domain and in the company of his son. He is now reunited with his loving wife, Sonya, of 32 beautiful years.

Chris enjoyed living life spontaneously, ready to take on adventures, and always scheming to surprise the one’s he loved most.

He was a fervent Alabama fan, and spirited Nascar fan. He enjoyed life outdoors in all of its splendor, from adventures in the woods in his native home of North Carolina, to gardening at home in Alabama, and EVERYTHING in between! Chris is survived by his beloved girlfriend, Regina Voyals; his loving children, Magon Stalls and Jeremy (Brandy) Stalls; his siblings, Brian (Wendy) Stalls and Laura Stalls; half- brother, Shelton (Laura) Stalls; step-sister, Janice (Rick) Thomas; and three adoring grandchildren, Ryder, Hendrex, and Shea Stalls; his “second” mothers, Vermil Chesson of North Carolina, and Betty Crowe of Alabama; along with a multitude of caring and devoted family and close friends. No words can describe how truly missed he will be! A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 4-5:30 p.m. followed by his service in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home. Family entrusted Charter Funeral Home with his arrangements.
