Brandon Lane Calvin

Brandon Lane Calvin of Jemison, AL passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025. He was born in Jefferson County, AL on June 28, 1975, and was 50 years old.
A beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother. Brandon was known for his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. He found freedom and joy riding his motorcycle. Brandon was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, sharing laughter, stories, and a deep bond that will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Wilma Hester, and George and Annie Calvin, first wife, Kimberly Calvin, aunt, Alice Hester, and niece, Marissa Woods.
He is survived by his daughters, Massie Calvin of Jemison, AL, Lisa Vest of Rockdale, TX; step daughters, Morgan Smith of Moulton, AL, Kaylee Fowler of Jemison, AL; stepson, Chase Richards of Moulton, AL; significant other, Angela Taylor of Jemison, AL; brothers, Brad Woods of Calera, AL, Paul Calvin of Alabaster, AL; sister, Lyndsey Calvin Montano of Calera, AL; step siblings, Mary Montgomery of Flemingsburg, KY, Rebecca Hohne of Hoover, AL, Clay Yarbrough of Owens Crossroads, AL; grandchildren, Hunter and Holden Sickles, Isaiah and Ava White, Kain Smith, Chanel and Channing Tucker, and Kyler and Kolsen Hicks; parents, Susie and Jeff Spain of Alabaster AL, Donna and George Calvin of Alabaster AL, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home in Calera, AL.
The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Charter Funeral Home.
The burial will be in Shelby Memory Gardens.
