Bobbie Sue Carter

Bobbie Sue Carter, age 70, of Maylene, Alabama passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 11, 1953 to her parents, Robert and Ruby Morris, both have preceded her in death. Bobbie also is preceded by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael Carter and sister, Laura Greenwood. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Carter (Kristi) and Jason Carter (Alesia); grandchildren, Kyler Carter, Emily Carter, Kaden Carter, and Callyn Carter; sisters, Sis Johnston (Bill) Charlene Simmons (Ronnie) and Lisa Davis (Larry); and Furry Friend Elvis, as well as many family members, nieces and nephews, Community Baptist Church family and special friends. Bobbie was a loving mother and meme to all she met.

Her funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Community Baptist Church in Maylene. A visitation will begin at 11 am, followed by a service at 12 pm. Bobbie will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Michael in Genry’s Gap Cemetery in Helena.

    We have known the Carter family for many years. Mike and Bobbie were good neighbors and friends, always there to help others.
    Praying for Stephen and Jason, all the family and friends, Bobbie Sue will truly be missed by all who knew her.
