Kimberly Darlene Payne

Kimberly Darlene Payne, age 42, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 22, 1979 to her parents, Ronald Payne and Tammy Scurlock. Kimberly is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Timothy “Tim” Payne and her grandfather, Billy McCormick; grandparents, Roscoe Payne (Leadie). She is survived by her mother, Tammy Seals Scurlock (David Jr.); brother, Austin Scurlock; grandmother, Patricia McCormick; grandparents, Felston “Sonny” Seals Sr. (Carmen); and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation starting at 11 am followed by her service at 12noon. Kimberly will be laid to rest in Pelham City Cemetery.

    She was family and it hurts my heart to see this, but I do know she is in a much better place with no pain and hurt.. she was a really sweet person and would carry on a conversation if bumped into at Walmart.. she will be dearly missed.
