George Edwin Foster

George Edwin Foster, age 73, passed away in the comfort of his own home, Wednesday, September 27, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 22, 1950 to his parents Floyd and Mamie Foster, both have preceded him in death. He is also preceded by his son, Noah Parr; brother, Floyd Foster Jr.; and sister, Martha Miller. George is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Denise Foster; son, Brandon Foster (Summer); daughters, Wendy Foster, Gina Parr, and Candace Perry; grandchildren, Jadyn Foster, Gage Foster, Dawson Foster, Bentley Foster, Cameron Sims, Caleb Sparkman, Joshua Foster, Aniston Adams, Joseph Mann, Bingham Perry, Matthew Horton, Ashlyn Horton, and Tyler Parr; and sister Janet Foster. Services will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held at 10:30 am followed by a service at 11:30 am. George will be laid to rest with honors at the Alabama National Cemetery at 1:15 pm.
