Age 92 of Birmingham, AL, passed away on September 24, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in Germany to Hans and Elma Grohs. Frauken expressed her passions teaching are at Jefferson State Jr College and working as director of the Grohs Collection Trust. She loved nature, artwork and healthy foods. She leaves behind children: Nelson Brackin, Rose McKinney, Irmaly Brackin, Heidi Cancelleri and spouse, JC, and four grandchildren and one great grandson. Services will be on October 6th at 11AM at The Cathedral Church of the Advent, in Birmingham, Alabama.
