Charles B. McCartney, age 86, of Montevallo, AL, went to be with Jesus Thursday, April 6, 2017. Charles was a true southern gentleman. Most of all he was a loving father, grandfather and a dedicated husband. He was predeceased by his first wife, Kathleen McCartney; sons Curtis and Johnny McCartney and parents, Jack and Bertha McCartney. His survivors include his wife of 14 years, Eunice McCartney; children, Sharron Epperson (Ray) and Craig Pearson; sister, Dorothy Pate; grandchildren, Edwin, Angie, Eric and Corry; dear friend, Mildred Aldridge; great grandchildren and many other family members and friends. 5-8 pm, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Charter Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is
2 pm, Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the funeral home. A Committal Service will be at Salem Cemetery in Calera, AL.
