Cathy Sue Reed

Cathy Sue Reed, age 60, of Shelby, AL, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She was born in California August, 27, 1963 to her parents Hebert and Nancy Hammer. Cathy is preceded by her father, Herbert Hammer and brother, Anthony Hammer (Christian). She is survived by her loving husband, Guy Reed; son, Kyle Reed (Amanda); daughter, Alicia Dickinson (Ed); mother, Nancy Hammer; sisters, Eva Aman (Sam) and Sheryl Aman (Jim); and brother, Mark Hammer (Mariann Santora). Cathy also had five beautiful grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. There will not be services at this time.

    Roxanne and I are sadden to hear the news of Cathy’s passing. I still have memories of when she lived in Hutchinson and spending time together. We extend our deepest sympathies to all her loving family.
