Brittany Carlin Watson

Brittany Carlin Watson, age 32, of Cahaba Valley / Oak Mountain went to be with God and her loved ones on June 2, 2021. She was enrolled as a student at Jefferson State Community College working toward a degree in nursing.  She was preceded in death by her father David W. Watson of Montevallo, paternal grandparents Charles and Ida Mae Watson of Montevallo, maternal grandparents Carl and Kathryn Street of Cahaba Valley.  She is survived by her children Zander Watson and Brylee Watson-Bernier, mother Cynthia Watson, brother Chace Gulledge (Dacia), brother David Watson (Terri), sister Angela Crider (Preston), and five nephews (Jordan Teal, Chandler Kutchak, Max Watson, Paxton Gunner Crider, Hunter Gulledge) whom
she adored and loved greatly. Brittany leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She loved her children and devoted her life to them. She spent her days working as a caregiver, going to school, and enjoyed watching her children participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities, providing them as many opportunities as possible for a successful future. She was a caring daughter, mother, sister, aunt – she loved God, her family, and all of God’s creatures.
Brittany was a radiant light that burned out on earth much too soon. She will be missed beyond
measure though earth’s loss is Heaven’s gain as we know she is now in the presence of Jesus.
Her services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home in Calera at 1PM with a time for visitation one hour prior. She will be laid to rest in Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham with Charter Funeral Home directing.
