Vergil Arnold Runyan

Vergil “Radio” Arnold Runyan, age 67 of Shelby, Al passed away Monday, August 22, 2016.  His survivors include his wife, Phyllis C. Runyan of Shelby, AL; son, David Weaver (Pam) of Alabaster, AL and daughters, Connie Crane (Donald) of Hueytown, AL and Krystal Gilmore (Josh) of Chelsea, AL; sister Helen R. Cole of Rockmark, GA.  The Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. , Thursday, August 25, 2016 with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:30 at Charter Funeral Home.

    Our condolences to the family for their loss and heaven’s gain! We crossed paths with Radio when our family (the Pickens’) came to live on Lay Lake.
