Sharon Elizabeth Freeman
Sharon Elizabeth Freeman of Calera, Alabama was a wife, mother, sister, and friend. She left this world due to a sudden illness on March 31, 2024, at age 59.
She was born to Elbert and Patricia Pirtle in Hapeville, Georgia on October 17, 1964. A firm believer in education, she attended Ravenscrest Bible College in Lyons, Colorado before going to Atlanta Technical College, where she learned phlebotomy and trained as an X-Ray technician. She graduated from nursing school at Wallace State in Hanceville and worked at several Birmingham metro hospitals. Her talents in music and art brought joy to many.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Elbert C. Pirtle; sons Patrick D. Breasseal and George P. Freeman V. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, George Freeman of Calera, sons Luke Breasseal (Mitchell Breasseal) of Oneonta, Alabama; Dirk C. Freeman of Lenoir City, Tennessee, and her mother Patricia Pirtle of Hampton, Georgia along with brother and sisters, nieces, and nephews in Georgia.
A private family memorial service is planned for April 13 near Ellijay, Georgia.
