Stanley Gordon Davey, Jr.

May 8, 1932 – July 18, 2021

Stanley Gordon Davey, Jr, age 89, of Shelby County went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 18, 2021.  He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Floyd Davey; his sons, Stan Davey; Joseph Scott Woodman; his daughters Kimberly Davey Kemp (Bobby); Kelly Davey Lagrone (Barry) and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Stanley served in the Marines during the Korean War.  He was also a long-time member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Birmingham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home. Visitation will be at Charter Funeral Home in Calera on Thursday July 22, 2021 at 11:00 am with the service following at 12 pm. Graveside will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo at 1:15 pm.
