Michael Andrew Sapp

Michael Andrew Sapp, age 76, of Alabaster went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He had a long career in the finance and insurance business. Michael is preceded in death by his son, Michael Brandon Sapp; parents, James Rudolph Sapp, Sr. and Joan Elizabeth Sorrow Sapp.

His surviving relatives include his loving wife, Brenda Campbell Sapp; son, Nathan Sapp (Catherine); daughter, Aimee Nichols; 6-grandchildren, Thomas, Callie, and Lacey Sapp, Mallee, Benjamin, and Samuel Nichols; brothers, James Rudolph Sapp, Jr. (Jan), Donald Paul Sapp, Sr. (Debbie), Stephen Patrick Sapp (Becky), and Murray Kevin Sapp (Pam); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Michael’s services to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Requiem Mass at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Homewood. His family wishes to express our deepest gratitude for the love, support, and comfort shown by friends and professionals. Charter Funeral Home in Calera is handling his arrangements.

    Larry and myself would like to express our sympathy to your sweet family. Mike was our dear friend for so many years. Working with him at Long Lewis for so long made him family. We loved him. We had a lot of great times. Our sincere sympathy and love to you.
