Sherry Lynn Dupree Watts

Sherry Lynn Dupree Watts, age 68 of Calera, Alabama passed away on January 10th, 2025. She was an only child, born August 5th, 1956, at St Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

She lived most of her life in Calera as a wife, mother and grandmother. She was as sassy and stubborn as they come. She loved music, especially Southern Gospel Music. She sang in a Christian family music group, in her later teens, for a couple of years. She also loved to dance, especially Disco and Line Dancing. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She truly will be missed, especially by David. “She was my Love, for almost 47 years.” 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Dupree and several other family members. 

She is survived by her husband, David A Watts; daughters, Dedra Boaz, Charity Watts, Erin Akers (Jeff) and Kristyn White (Jared); sons, Brandon Watts (Tabitha) and Jake Watts (Laura); granddaughters, Krissi Keel (Seth), Alana, Kayley, Chloe, Sophia, McKenzie, Julia-Belle, Annabeth, Aiyana, Olivia and Ainsley; grandsons, Crimson Kromer (Candace), D C Watts and Jax Fielders great grandsons, Nate and Barrett; great granddaughter, Adleigh; aunt, Mary Jo Ayers; cousins, Anita Cofer (Lee) and Randy Canady

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Calera Bible Baptist Church Beginning at 11 am. Brother Carey Waldrop will be officiating.
